Today we will check the free WiFi connectivity on the the Toei Bus (ToBus) the bus service operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation.

HOW TO CONNECT TO THE FREE WIFI Toei_Bus_Free_Wi-Fi

On your phone, tablet, select the WiFi Spot Toei_Bus_Free_Wi-Fi. Once selected you will get a dialogue automatically as shown in the next step

The first screen will be a Japanese language one like the below, kindly notice the top bar where you have the word “LANGUAGE”, which you need to tap to select English for further directions or other Korean etc, which you may want to.

Select the language as shown below

The next screen will give all directions in English and notice the Connect to the Internet which you can then choose to connect to the wireless hotspot.

A warning screen with a long list of Service Terms and Agreement text. Select “I Agree” towards the end of the page and you will be set for using the wireless connection Toei_Bus_Free_Wi-Fi. See the three screen sequence as shown below to Agree – Connect and then try a URL in the browser and you should have connected!

Hi

I am a volunteer in Kherson region in Ukraine and I must admit that the situation has become extremely dire. The Russian forces are intensifying their attacks almost on an hourly basis, which has resulted in a cut off of all essential supplies and clothing. With extreme cold and lack of food supplies, it has become extremely difficult for innocent Ukrainian civilians to survive, most of whom are homeless. Internet and all communications are heavily censored and down most of the time.

We have been promised foreign aid by countless charities and organisations but in reality, hardly anything arrives. I suspect that all deliveries are being intercepted by Russian troops.

As a last resort, I am appealing to experiencetokyo.net to help Ukrainian civilians in the region with all essential supplies.

We would ideally need medical supplies, food (non-perishable or longer lasting), warm clothing and anything else you may be able to provide.

If you are able to deliver help, please could you send it to the below address which we are using as shelter for the time being.
