Tokyo Station 100 Year Anniversary version of the Yamanote Train

YEP that is what the JR has put out this year to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Tokyo Station. The train ir decorated beautifully on the exterior with brown color sticker wrappings with the message depicting the 100 year anniversary.
Yamanote Line Train in the 100 Year Tokyo Anniversary versionThe train doors have the 1914 to 2014 written on either sides and its a fun to watch the 1914 and 2014 slide away and closer to each other every time the door opens or closes. Think about it, its a long time with two world wars in between… historical indeed.

The train color may change, but one thing which will not change is the crowded aspect of the train. That remains the same. CROWDED AS USUAL

Then again, its the crowd which makes this city and we love it for all that it has to offer. The anniversary edition is a welcome change to the regular steel and green color of the Yamanote, the lifeline of the city
